About the Role

NHS Scotland is seeking a highly skilled Child and Adolescent Therapist to join our Specialist Children's Services team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering psychological therapies to children, young people, and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Formulate and communicate complex psychological formulations to clients, relatives, carers, and healthcare professionals.
  • Plan and implement bespoke psychological interventions, programs, and evaluations to address the needs of children and young people.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support.
Requirements
  • Single or Joint Honours Degree in Psychology (2:1 or above)
  • Graduate Basis for Registration (GBR) with the British Psychological Society
  • Specialist knowledge of psychological theory and research with children and young people
