Job Title: Electrical Systems Specialist

About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Electrical Systems Specialist at our Ashchurch site.

\r

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for undertaking the servicing, repair, maintenance and overhaul of vehicles and electrical equipment, including diagnostic and inspection duties. You will also be carrying out equipment examination to meet production requirements.

Day-to-Day Activities:
You will carry out the inspection, servicing, repair and overhaul of vehicles, assemblies, electrical and general equipment, including diagnostic duties, manufacture miscellaneous items and carry out examination tasks to meet production needs. You may also carry out similar duties to occasional civilian vehicles and mechanic equipment.

  • Carry out work to the required standard and specification as detailed on the job card in accordance with the customer requirements, current regulations, local instructions, processes and other approved technical publications\r
  • Diagnose, inspect and assess vehicles and associated mechanical / electrical equipment in line with skills & competency\r
  • Ensure all job transactions are accurately recorded and carried out in accordance with current ERP processes and that work completed and time taken to complete the job is submitted daily to the department / section Supervisor\r
  • Completion of vehicle and equipment documentation and test certificates / reports to current standards\r
  • Ensure stores and equipment issued to job are used for their correct purpose and un-used or new faulty material is returned to the section / department Supervisor as soon as it is identified\r

About You:
We are looking for someone with previous experience within a similar role, preferably in a dealership or local garage environment. A real team player with the ability to adapt and build rapport is essential. Qualifications in a relevant trade discipline and Security Check (SC) security clearance are also necessary.
