Job Description

Imerys is seeking a Material Handling Technician to join our team in Newton Abbot. This full-time and permanent role comes with a competitive salary of £28,472 (inclusive of shift allowance).

As a Material Handling Technician, you will be responsible for operating a Forklift in a safe manner to load products onto lorries from the warehouse. You will also use bagging equipment to fill large bags ready for dispatch, as well as operate other mobile plant equipment such as front end loading shovels.

Your duties will include carrying out site cleaning and promoting good housekeeping practices, following health and safety guidelines, and holding a Full and valid driving licence. Additionally, you will need to possess basic numeracy, literacy and IT skills.
