About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Corporate Finance Director to join our team at Aimee Willow Connex. As a key member of our Corporate Finance team, you will play a critical role in leading the process of closing transactions and supporting the firm's Partners in developing new business.

As a Director, you will have direct line management responsibility for a team of Executives and Managers, guiding and nurturing these team members to achieve agreed objectives. You will work closely with a variety of Partners on a broad spectrum of transactions, including M&A, debt, and equity fundraising.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the execution of transactions using your technical knowledge and experience across all aspects of the deal cycle.
  • Utilize the team around you to deliver in the most efficient way possible, including client marketing materials, financial analysis, and detailed valuations.
  • Manage buyer and funder lists, as well as making initial sales approaches.
  • Oversee the management of buyer/funder bid deadlines and respond to enquiries and oversee the due diligence process.
  • Individually, you will be responsible for transaction project management, resource planning, and performance management of direct reports.
  • Keep Partners fully informed and support them in delivering excellent client service.
  • Lead negotiations on deal closing matters, including EV to EqV bridges and SPA and funding document review and negotiation.
  • Support junior members of the team by coaching to advance their learning and fulfill their potential.
Requirements
  • Professional qualification ACA/ACCA (or equivalent) essential.
  • A minimum of 8 years PQE in Corporate Finance (lead advisory).
  • Experience of leading transactions to completion.
  • Currently working in a CF advisory team either as a Director or Associate Director showing great potential.
