About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled HGV Trailer Technician to join our client's team. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the fleet of HGV trailers is in top condition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out maintenance, repairs, and modification work on HGV trailers
  • Provide technical support from fault analysis to completion
  • Undertake pre-MOT checks and perform any required repairs
  • Conduct quality control tests and present trailers for MOTs

Requirements

  • Hold an in-depth knowledge of commercial vehicles and HGV trailers
  • Hold an HGV licence Class 1 (desirable but not essential)
  • Be a fully qualified HGV Trailer Technician with City & Guilds / NVQ level 3 in heavy vehicle maintenance and repair
  • Double deck maintenance experience is desirable
  • Welding experience is desirable
