About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our Parking Services management team as a Parking Supervisor. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering and managing effective parking enforcement and car park management operations in Coventry.

The post holder will report directly to the Parking Manager and be responsible for the day-to-day management of frontline staff, which is comprised of a team of civil enforcement officers (traffic wardens). The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising, motivating, and deploying the staff whilst managing and overseeing all aspects of employee and team performance.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in the management of parking operations or a similar front-line service, together with an understanding of on-street and off-street parking regulations, policies and procedures. They will use a range of computerised back office systems to manage the enforcement and parking operations effectively.

The successful candidate will be required to work a rotating shift pattern along with other teams to cover 7 days a week and 364 days a year. They will be paid an allowance in addition to their basic pay for this.
