Job Title: Environmental Sustainability Specialist

Location: Kent Conservation District

This role offers a unique opportunity to work with the Kent Conservation District in a position that focuses on environmental conservation. The successful candidate will be responsible for working within the Division of Water program, providing support and expertise related to water quality and management.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of environmental principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and project management skills. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as environmental science or biology, is required. Additionally, a valid driver's license may be necessary for certain aspects of the job.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct water quality monitoring and testing
  • Develop and implement environmental conservation plans
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve environmental goals
  • Assist with grant writing and reporting

Salary Range: $50,000 - $65,000 per year
