Lead Programmer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Programmer to join our team at Double Eleven. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for leading a team of programmers and contributing to the development of our exciting new projects.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to a team of programmers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality code and meeting project deadlines.
- Code Development: Design, develop, test, and implement systems and game code to a high level of quality.
- Collaboration: Work closely with designers, artists, and publishing teams to create the highest possible quality titles.
- Team Management: Lead a team, taking responsibility for their personal development and work delivery.
- Project Management: Work with production on a project roadmap and deliver according to that schedule.
- Client Communication: Take part in regular client meetings and become the first technical point of contact for the project.
- Technical Expertise: Excellent knowledge of C++ and experience working with proprietary or Unreal engines.
- Leadership Experience: Experience as a Lead or Senior Programmer in the games industry, with a proven track record of leading teams and delivering projects.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with team members outside the code team.
- Coaching and Development: Ability to coach a small team of programmers and break down and structure tasks to meet deadlines efficiently.
- Flexible Working Hours: Start your day any time between 8:00am and 10:00am, with a 35-hour working week and a 1-hour lunch break.
- Hybrid Working: Opportunity to apply for hybrid working, with up to 2 days working from home per week.
