An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Theatre Nurse to work in a specialist eye healthcare service based in the UK. You will be working for a leading healthcare provider.

This is a modern, state-of-the-art eye hospital with first-class facilities and the latest technology.

**Must be qualified as an RGN Nurse with an active NMC Pin - Will also accept ODP's with HCPC registrations**

As a Nurse, your key duties include:

  • Providing patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures
  • Assisting the surgical team in preparing the operating room and equipment
  • Monitoring patients' vital signs and ensuring their comfort and safety
  • Administering medications as directed by the surgeon or anaesthesiologist
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of patient information and surgical procedures
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes

The following skills and experience would be beneficial for the role:

  • 12 months post-registration experience
  • Passionate about developing a career in Ophthalmology
  • Ability to absorb and convey highly technical information
  • Adaptable with a flexible approach to work
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks
  • Demonstrate confidentiality, integrity and discretion

The successful Nurse will receive an excellent salary of £30,970 - £37,336 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full-time role for 37.5 hours a week on Day Shifts from 7.30am-5.30pm. In return for your hard work and commitment, you will receive the following generous benefits:
