We are seeking an experienced and motivated Key Stage 2 teacher to join our reputable school in West London.

The successful candidate will be passionate about education and have a proven track record of delivering excellent teaching in a Year 6 setting, working collaboratively with the school team to ensure all students receive a positive and engaging learning experience.

Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated teacher to make a real difference in the lives of our students. As a Key Stage 2 teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and pastoral care to children in Key Stage 2, promoting teamwork and a conducive learning environment.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in teaching Year 6 students and hold a Bachelor's degree or above in Education or a related field. They should also possess teaching qualification and QTS, as well as a passion for working with children and commitment to providing high-quality education.

Responsibilities
  • Teach the Key Stage 2 curriculum to groups of children, focusing on individual learning targets, encouraging strengths, and improving weaknesses.
  • Support children's development of writing skills by creating plots, characters, and settings for stories.
  • Monitor progress and report back to parents as necessary.
  • Collaborate with management, teaching staff, and parents to provide quality academic support for Year 6 students.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Education, or related field.
  • Teaching qualification and QTS.
  • At least 2 years of experience in teaching Year 6 students.
  • Passion for working with children and commitment to providing high-quality education.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and school staff.
