About the Role

BAM Nuttall is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our civil engineering projects across Scotland.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering large-scale projects within the energy infrastructure sector, focusing on building new substations to support Scotland's transition to Net Zero.

You will be part of our multi-million pound Power Transmission Framework for SSE and will work closely with our clients to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage project teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, stakeholders, and the supply chain.
  • Ensure the successful commercial and financial management of projects, including cost control and financial reporting.
  • Implement and maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental management.
  • Develop and mentor key staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Degree or HND in Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager or Senior Agent in civil engineering contracting.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
  • Detailed knowledge of the civil construction environment and forms of contract used.
  • Experience working in construction project delivery.
