About PDSA
PDSA is a special organisation that provides expert veterinary care for people across the UK who otherwise would not be able to afford to treat their pets. We pride ourselves on our unique approach, combining pragmatism with a strong client care focus to deliver good clinical outcomes. Our goal is to measure our impact rather than targets, ensuring we provide the best possible care for our patients.
Your Role
We are looking for qualified veterinary nurses who are up for a challenge and can adapt to the wide variety of cases seen at PDSA. As a veterinary nurse, you will be involved in consultations, in-patient care, dispensing medications, and assisting in theatre, including schedule 3 surgery. Your passion will drive you to champion the charity, promote client contributions, and always keep an eye on resources, suggesting efficiencies wherever possible.
Your Benefits
We offer a wide range of benefits, including remote and flexible working options, a CPD allowance of one week and £500 per year, full RCVS fees, and a range of internal CPD programmes and discounts for BSAVA congress and London Vet Show. You will also have access to 25 days holiday (excluding Bank Holidays) with the option to buy and sell up to 5 days per year, an additional Wellbeing Day to take whenever you like, and a generous Auto-Enrolment pension and/or Contributory pension schemes available starting at an enhanced rate of 5% contributions up to 10%. We also offer a Life Assurance policy (4 x Annual Salary), an Employee Assistance Program and Online Wellbeing Centre available 24/7, and a wide range of discounts for Retail, Holiday, and similar organisations on our fetch platform.
