Our client is a well-established electrical compliance and testing company with over 40 years of experience. They provide services to various clients across the UK and pride themselves on their engineers' skills and commitment to staying ahead of electrical regulations.

They are currently seeking a Portable Appliance Tester (PAT) to join their team. As a PAT, you will be responsible for:

  • Testing portable appliances on large commercial sites
  • Visiting 1 or 2 sites per day
  • Working in and around London

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary and benefits package, including:

  • Basic salary: £23,886
  • Realistic OTE: 37-38k
  • Bonus scheme: 20p, 30p, or 40p per test after daily targets are hit
  • Travel pay
  • Van, phone, fuel card, electrical testing equipment
  • Overtime weekend rota
  • 23 days holiday + 8 bank holidays
  • Yearly KPI bonuses
  • Plenty of additional overtime if required

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Living in or around the London area
  • C&G 2377 PAT course
  • Experience in portable appliance testing
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to pass a DBS check
