About the RoleThis is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned claims consultant to take on a senior role and provide expert advice to clients on complex disputes and claims.
As a Senior Claims Consultant, you will be responsible for providing commercially focused counsel to clients, helping them prevent conflicts and navigate complex contractual issues.
You will also be involved in report writing, representation in tribunals, and coaching and training clients on commercial, contractual, and temporal issues.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert advice on claims and disputes to clients
- Help clients prevent conflicts and navigate complex contractual issues
- Write reports and represent clients in tribunals
- Coach and train clients on commercial, contractual, and temporal issues
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Approximately 10 years of postgraduate experience in Quantity Surveying or a related field
- Strong knowledge and understanding of typical Quantity Surveying duties, including managing variations and changes
- Experience in providing professional construction commercial and contractual advice or working in a senior commercial role for a contracting organisation
- Strong practical and/or theoretical experience of handling claims within your previous role as a Quantity Surveyor
- A clear desire and motivation to specialise in and progress your career in the claims and disputes sector
We offer a competitive salary up to £100k (DOE), car allowance, pension, discretionary bonus, and support towards further qualifications.
