Job Title: Compensation Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Compensation Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Generation Services team, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate production and distribution of monthly power statements and invoices to external customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare and issue electricity monthly statements and invoices to sites with new and existing products.
  2. Analyse product structures and develop procedures to calculate statement and invoice values.
  3. Assess risk of settlement processes.
  4. Understand and interpret complex electricity contracts and products.
  5. Manage the processing and reporting of Renewable Obligation Certificates, Renewable Energy Guarantees of Origin, and Guarantees of Origin.
  6. Develop strong working relationships with customers.
  7. Raise and resolve queries arising from data analysis and contract interpretation.
  8. Support, liaise, and agree SLAs with other parts of the npower team.
  9. Download and validate metered data input into the settlements process.
  10. Resolve metered data issues and disputes.
  11. Work to reduce the aged debt position managed by Generation Services.
Requirements:
  1. Good commercial awareness, strong communication, and influencing skills.
  2. Demonstrable experience in a commercial/analytical role.
  3. The ability to identify and resolve complex numeric problems.
  4. Good modelling skills, preferably in MS Excel/Access and VBA.
  5. The ability to develop new processes for the calculation of settlement and invoicing of new Generation Services products.
