We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant in Rheumatology with a specialist interest in Psoriatic Arthritis to join our team at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Main Duties
The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking five rheumatology outpatient clinics per week, participating in educational and management audits, and teaching junior doctors and medical students. They will also contribute to the development of pathways spanning primary and secondary care, and have opportunities to participate in research projects.
Requirements
Candidates must be fully registered with the GMC and ideally have a CCT in Rheumatology or be within six months of award of CCT at the time of interview. Applications are welcomed from those unable to work full time for personal reasons or those wishing to job-share.
Working for Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
The successful candidate will have demonstrable skills in listening, reading, writing, and speaking in English that enable effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues. They must also possess the IELTS/OET exam before obtaining a GMC licence to practice.
