Job Summary

Escape Recruitment is seeking a skilled Hydraulic/Mechanical Technician to join our client's manufacturing team in Fife. This is a permanent position that requires a time-served individual with a minimum SVQ Level 3 engineering qualification.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic engineering drawings to ensure accurate installation, service, and maintenance of systems.
  • Utilize measuring and recording equipment to ensure precision and accuracy in work.
  • Work with high-pressure equipment and pressure-generating systems, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Service and repair equipment as required, identifying and troubleshooting issues efficiently.
  • Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot equipment problems, implementing effective solutions.
  • Overhaul and test pumps, motors, and control valves to ensure optimal performance.
  • Prepare detailed service reports, maintain accurate records, and complete all necessary paperwork, test procedures, risk assessments, and tool box talks to a high standard.
  • Provide support to other trades and disciplines as needed, demonstrating a high level of professionalism and expertise.
