We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Planner to join our London Planning Team at Kier Group.

Job Summary:

The Senior Planner will be responsible for providing planning expertise on multiple projects across the Pre Construction & Construction Delivery Teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain complex project plans, ensuring construction schedules are created, updated, and amended in line with project requirements.
  • Produce fully integrated programmes incorporating all disciplines, including design, commercial, and construction, based on output rates and benchmarking.
  • Review subcontractor programme and logistics information, ensuring compliance with contract conditions.
  • Produce monthly client progressed programmes and supportive narrative for review and approval by project leads.
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely completion and within budget.
  • Utilize Asta Powerproject software and Bluebeam for takeoffs, logistics planning, and other project-related tasks.
  • Develop and implement claims and CE's, ensuring compliance with JCT and NEC contract conditions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in construction planning, gained within a main contractor environment.
  • Strong knowledge of JCT and NEC contract conditions.
  • Experience in developing and implementing project plans, ensuring timely completion and within budget.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with project teams and stakeholders.
