Carrington West is seeking a skilled Housing Options Officer to join our dedicated team. As a Housing Options Officer, you will play a critical role in delivering expert housing advice and homelessness prevention services.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess applicants' housing needs and provide person-centered support
- Work to prevent homelessness wherever possible
- Advise individuals facing complex social challenges, such as domestic abuse, mental health issues, and substance misuse
- Hold a diverse caseload and apply relevant legislation to make informed decisions
- Maintain accurate records and develop personalized housing plans
- Chair multi-disciplinary case meetings and collaborate with services to address individual needs
