We are seeking a highly organized and communicative Business Support Officer to join our Digital and Customer Experience department at Plymouth City Council.
This role will provide administrative support to our People department, focusing on delivering efficient and effective administrative services. The successful candidate will work closely with teams responsible for community connections, housing, homelessness, strategic commissioning, adult safeguarding, and deprivation of liberty.
The Business Support Officer will also provide occasional reception cover at adult day centers, including Colwill Lodge and The Vine. This is a hybrid role, requiring the post holder to work from home and at office-based locations within the City.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as proficiency in ICT systems and software packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
This role is suitable for flexible working, subject to the needs of the service. The Disclosure & Barring Service Check requirement for this post is a Standard Check.
