We are seeking an experienced Estimating Director to join our UK Estimating team in the Infrastructure sector.

Job Summary

This is a key leadership role, responsible for leading or managing the production of accurate and comprehensive estimates and cost plans for projects/programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and promotion of estimating good practice within Turner & Townsend;
  • Act as a role model for less experienced staff;
  • Take a lead role in interfacing with clients and other consultants at all project stages;
  • Develop new business opportunities with existing and new Turner & Townsend clients;
  • Identify and act upon cross-selling opportunities;
  • Staff management (where appropriate);
  • Knowledge management.

Requirements

  • Qualified to a high standard in Estimating or Quantity Surveying with proven relevant experience;
  • Previous experience of working with estimating software packages;
  • Experience of working on Major Programmes and Projects;
  • Experience of working in the Infrastructure sector (Rail, air, power, highways);
  • Experience in leading and managing teams.
