Greenkeeper Trainee

This is a full-time role based onsite at our facility in Suffolk. As a Greenkeeper Trainee, you will be responsible for managing the irrigation system effectively, recording all water usage, and adapting programs to suit local weather conditions and rainfall.

• Pruning trees, trimming hedges, and cutting back shrubs as required;
• Assisting in the setup of customer visits, demonstrations, and product training;
• General site maintenance, including planting beds and general duties associated with the site;
• With assistance, planning and applying a fertilizer schedule for the turf areas;
• Helping with the planning and expansion of the mower testing areas.

We are looking for a candidate with basic computer skills for record keeping and writing emails and reports. Entry onto the apprenticeship is also subject to 4 GCSE's including Maths & English 9-3 or equivalent.
