Chief Butler

The Chancery Rosewood is a world-class hotel that offers an unparalleled level of luxury and service. Our team is dedicated to providing an exceptional experience for our guests, and we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Butler to join our team.

As a Chief Butler, you will be responsible for leading a team of butlers who provide personalized service to our suite guests. You will be responsible for ensuring that every guest has a seamless and memorable experience, and that our team delivers the highest level of service in relation to Forbes, LQA, and Rosewood Brand Standards.

• Own the guest experience for our Suite guests, ensuring a bespoke and memorable service.
• Drive the performance of the Butler department, ensuring the team delivers the highest quality in relation to Forbes, LQA, and Rosewood Brand Standards.
• Develop and implement efficient Butler procedures and best practices.
• Adapt and tailor your style of service to best suit the guest preferences.
• Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy; prioritize, organize, and follow-up; be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment; follow directions thoroughly; understand a guest's service needs; work cohesively with colleagues as part of a team; work with minimal supervision; maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.
• Support with all training and onboarding of the Butler team.
• Manage the Butler team, including recruitment, training, and development, performance, and standards.
• Prepare weekly work schedule in accordance with staffing guidelines and labor forecasts. Adjust the schedule to meet business demands if necessary.
• Liaise with the relevant departments to prepare for guest stays and action guest requests.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Chief Butler who is passionate about delivering exceptional service and has a natural ability to lead and motivate a team. You will have previous experience working with and looking after high net worth individuals, and you will have a proven track record of managing a high-performing team.

You will have excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, and you will be able to communicate effectively with a variety of senior guests and colleagues. Experience with LQA and Forbes would be advantageous, and experience in Food and Beverage would be preferable.

You will be a confident leader who is able to adapt to changing situations and priorities, and you will be committed to delivering the highest level of service in relation to Rosewood's core values.
