Geography Teacher

**About the Role**

The Scottish Council of Independent Schools (SCIS) is seeking a skilled Geography Teacher to join our network of supply teachers. As a supply teacher, you will be responsible for covering day-to-day, long-term, and unfilled permanent teaching positions in geography at our member schools in West Central Scotland.

Main Responsibilities:

• Teach geography to students at various levels, including primary and secondary
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to meet the needs of diverse learners
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and resources
• Communicate effectively with school administrators and parents

Requirements:

• Registered or eligible for registration with the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTC Scotland)
• Strong subject knowledge and teaching skills in geography
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
