This is an exciting opportunity to join the University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust as a Specialty Doctor in Acute Medicine. As part of our Same Day Emergency Care team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to general medical patients.

The role offers 10 PA's with 1.5 allocated as SPA time, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance. You will have the chance to contribute to the further development of the service and work closely with acute medical colleagues to ensure seamless patient care.

Main Duties:

  • ">
  • To review referrals made to the Same Day Emergency Care Unit and supervise patients accordingly, ensuring clinics run smoothly and documentation is accurate and comprehensive.">
  • To work collaboratively with the SDEC team to provide an effective service 7 days a week, meeting national and local standards.">
  • To participate in Review Clinics and share management responsibilities for patients under the care of Acute Physicians.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • 4 years of post-qualification experience (PQFE)">
  • 2 years of Acute/General Medical experience">
  • NHS Acute/General Medical experience advantageous">
