Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging and rigorous PE lessons aligned with the national curriculum and school educational goals across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Create a stimulating classroom atmosphere that promotes student curiosity, problem-solving, and collaboration.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to facilitate individual growth.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the PE department and across the school to enhance the learning experience.
  • Stay abreast of current pedagogical approaches and developments in the field of PE.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in PE or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching PE at the secondary level.
