Job Description

Deloitte LLP is currently seeking a highly experienced Director to join our Insurance group within the Accounting Advisory team. As a leader in financial reporting, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality accounting advice to our clients.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading accounting teams and advising on complex IFRS and/or UK GAAP accounting issues. You will also have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues alike.

**Key Responsibilities:**
• Lead the implementation and application of new accounting standards
• Act as the lead subject matter expert for audit teams on complex accounting judgments
• Collaborate with other Deloitte teams to deliver seamless joined-up expert input
• Provide transaction accounting support to audit teams and assurance clients
• Develop and implement effective accounting policies and procedures
