Job Description:

Winner Recruitment is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join an established bespoke temperature control solution provider. The company specializes in industrial chillers, air conditioning, process cooling, refrigeration, and process engineering services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform day-to-day maintenance, PPMs, and reactive work on freezers, cold rooms, chillers, refrigeration panels, and AC units.
  • Support prestigious FMCG brands within the distribution sites.
  • Conduct install work and support large projects as needed.
  • Work independently or with a small team of engineers across other disciplines.
  • Diagnose and repair faults in refrigeration units promptly.
  • Ensure all jobs are completed to the highest standards and in line with company expectations.
  • Work in line with Health and Safety regulations and collaborate with other engineers and subcontractors when necessary.
  • Support the Apprentice in learning new skills within the trade.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Chiller Engineer or similar role within the refrigeration industry.
  • Ideal qualifications include NVQ or diploma in Installing and Maintaining Refrigeration Systems.
  • F-Gas and other related qualifications with Pasma and I Path are advantageous.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical diagrams and manuals with strong working knowledge of HVAC systems and their components.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills and comfort using handheld devices for logging.
  • Full UK driver's license with strong customer service skills.
