About the Role

The IS Analyst for Telecoms & Networks plays a vital role in the Workplace team within the Booker IT Department, responsible for delivering effective, secure, and efficient systems in Telecoms and Networks to enhance customer satisfaction and business profitability.

This role is primarily focused on delivering the corporate telephone system to various locations throughout the UK, including Stores, Distribution Centres, and Offices. Additionally, the successful candidate will provide network support for systems and users based in Equity House and the Booker Support Centre office.

Due to the nature of the role, flexibility to work outside of normal business hours may be required. The candidate will also be part of an out-of-hours customer concern process and will be expected to support the business as needed in the event of incidents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with business partners to deliver quality solutions.
  • Utilize technical troubleshooting and analytical skills to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Prioritize activities and coordinate work schedules to meet deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, customers, and suppliers through reliable and efficient written and verbal communication.
  • Adapt quickly to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Hold a valid Full UK Driving Licence.
