Salary and Benefits

The base salary for this role is approximately £40,000, which includes a range of benefits such as 25 days' holiday, pension scheme, life insurance, career opportunities, shift premiums, free on-site parking, and cycle-to-work scheme.

About the Job

In this role, you will be responsible for covering both proactive and reactive maintenance routines on facilities and production equipment, adhering to health and safety requirements. You will also have the opportunity to work as part of a team to complete in-house projects, including equipment testing, fault finding, and repair. Your expertise in mechanical and electrical support will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of extrusion lines within the plant.

You will be expected to maintain a high level of productivity while prioritizing tasks efficiently, focusing on achieving machine maintenance hours on planned work. Additionally, you will need to ensure compliance with H&S regulations and maintain a safe working environment at all times. Your ability to communicate effectively with the team and contribute to the planning and controlling of daily routines will be valuable assets to the company.
