About the Role

The Emerald Group is seeking a highly skilled Risk Modelling Specialist to join our team in London. As a key member of our risk aggregation team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our underwriters receive accurate and timely information to inform their decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the risk aggregation team and other functions to ensure that modelling processes and assumptions are aligned and meet regulatory requirements.
  • Provide high-quality data and analytics to stakeholders, including underwriting and ORI placement teams.
  • Manage exposure data and ensure its accuracy and timeliness.
  • Contribute to wider risk aggregation projects and deliverables, including the Company view of risk and ORI.
  • Develop and maintain advanced IT skills, particularly in MS Excel, VBA, and SQL.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in catastrophe modelling using RMS/AIR/EQE or relevant actuarial experience.
  • Expert knowledge of AIR Touchstone is desirable.
  • Specialty class experience in Cargo, Contingency, Terrorism, and Specie is essential.
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent and a willingness to undertake continuous personal and professional development.
