We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our team at Bright Horizons Southborough Springfield Road Day Nursery and Preschool.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals who are passionate about providing high-quality care and education to children. As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes learning and development.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and implement engaging activities that cater to the needs of each child, promoting their development towards key milestones.
- Observe, track, and reflect on learning to ensure the best possible outcomes for children.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed about their child's progress.
- Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health, and safety, adhering to our safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Contribute to a positive and safe environment, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve this goal.
- Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
- Previous experience working with children, ideally in a nursery or similar setting.
- Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
- Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with colleagues and parents.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and legislative requirements for working with children.
