About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Scrub Nurse to join our team at Optegra. As a key member of our operating theatre team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our patients undergoing ophthalmic surgery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in all aspects of the ophthalmic surgical pathway, including peri-operative and post-operative care.
  • Provide skilled clinical and technical assistance as a member of the operating theatre team.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Registered General Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner qualification.
  • Current NMC/ODP registration with no restrictions.
  • Qualification in Ophthalmology or Perioperative care.
  • Minimum of one year's experience in an ophthalmology theatre.
  • Knowledge of private and operating settings.
