We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Priory Hospital Glasgow. As a Specialist in Eating Disorders, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and high-quality care for patients referred to and using our eating disorders services.
Main Responsibilities- Provide consultant-level care for up to 12 inpatients with eating disorders on two wards at Priory Hospital Glasgow.
- Offer consultant advice to outpatients receiving therapy from Priory Therapy Services.
- Work closely with outpatient Therapy Services and Wellbeing Centres for any outpatient-related inquiries.
- Provide non-residential consultant on-call cover for out-of-hours for Priory Hospital Glasgow inpatients.
- Participate in hospital clinical governance activities and take up Quality Improvement activities as delegated by the Hospital Senior Management Team.
- Develop and maintain a prescribed connection with Priory Group for Annual appraisals and Revalidation.
To be successful in this role, you must be on the Specialist Register (CCT or CCST) or within 6 months of entering on it in general psychiatry, with experience and competencies in eating disorders. Specialist ED work experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings is desirable.
