Key Responsibilities

As a volunteer mentor, your primary responsibility will be to establish and maintain a supportive relationship with a young person who has experienced care. This will involve regular meetings, activities, and communication to ensure the mentee feels heard and understood.

You will work closely with our caseworkers to develop a personalized mentorship plan that addresses the unique needs and goals of the mentee. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of your interactions with the mentee and participating in regular review sessions with our caseworkers.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to build strong relationships with mentees. If you are passionate about making a difference in your community and have a genuine interest in supporting young people, we encourage you to apply.
