Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Employment Tax Specialist to join our team at PRO-TAX RECRUITMENT LIMITED. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice on employment taxes, including employment status, PAYE obligations, National Insurance contributions, expenses and benefits, remuneration planning, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Providing complex tax advice and staying up-to-date with employment tax regulations and legislation.
  2. Advising on all aspects of employment taxes, including employment status, PAYE obligations, National Insurance contributions, expenses and benefits, remuneration planning, etc.
  3. Undertaking PAYE health checks/due diligence and assisting clients with PAYE enquiries from HMRC.
  4. Advising on completion of various compliance processes, including P11Ds, PAYE Settlement Agreements, and Short Term Business Visitor reporting.
  5. Dealing with overseas tax queries in conjunction with our international association.
  6. Assisting with supervision of more junior staff.
  7. Dealing with queries from directors and Partners on a daily basis.
  8. Providing technical support to the firm's payroll bureau, HR consulting, and Global mobility teams.
  9. Contributing to marketing and business development activities.

Requirements:

  1. Strong employment taxes experience.
  2. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  3. ATT and/or CTA Qualified (or equivalent).
  4. Organised and motivated.
  5. A driven person who will take ownership of tasks and drive to completion.
  6. A good team player.
  7. Experience of dealing with HMRC.

Desirable:

  1. Expatriate tax knowledge.
  2. Share scheme experience.
