Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to work as an Examiner, marking Mathematics assessments and contributing to the quality of our educational products. As an Examiner, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and consistency of our marking processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To mark Mathematics assessments accurately and consistently, using the pre-defined mark scheme
  • To submit samples to your Team Leader at designated times, demonstrating your understanding of the mark scheme
  • To ensure milestones for marking are adhered to, meeting deadlines and working efficiently
  • To complete all administration tasks as specified, maintaining accurate records and reports

Requirements:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification, with relevant subject knowledge
  • One year's teaching experience within the last 8 years, with a focus on Mathematics
  • Ability to work well under pressure, managing stress and meeting deadlines
  • High level of subject knowledge to apply the mark scheme, with a strong understanding of assessment principles
