Job Description

Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced and capable Chef to join our team at Beaumont Care Homes. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality, nutritional meals and catering for the dietary needs of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a team of kitchen colleagues to deliver a first-class catering service.
  • Prepare menus in consultation with the Cook Manager, Home Manager, residents, families, and catering committees.
  • Monitor and replenish kitchen and food stocks.
  • Ensure high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food preparation are maintained at all times.

About the Role:

In the absence of the Cook Manager, the successful candidate will take responsibility for leading the kitchen team, planning and delivering set menus, and monitoring stock levels.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year's experience working in a kitchen environment.
  • Knowledge of HACCP.
