Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a talented Fire Engineer to join an industry-leading, multidisciplinary consultancy based in the UK. Our client is an award-winning practice that works with various housing associations, local authorities, developers, and commercial portfolio holders, providing fire engineering services. Chartered building surveyors who are looking for a career path into fire engineering are also encouraged to apply.

As a Fire Engineer, you will be relied upon to help promote the practice and continue to develop and maintain client relationships. Limited travel will be expected within our region to fulfill the requirements of the role and the diverse range of work. This role is suitable for an experienced Fire Engineer looking for a change and working in a fast-paced environment.

  • Able to work as part of a team, checking and authorising fire engineering work
  • Prioritising workloads and delivering deadlines
  • Ability to successfully lead on and manage complex projects in a proactive and diligent manner
  • Management of projects from inception to completion
  • Client-facing position - ensuring high standards of technical delivery
  • Producing fire engineering reports on design projects for architectural and building services engineering teams
