The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Site Agent to play a crucial role in delivering critical enabling works on the prestigious HS2 project. This will involve overseeing road realignments, utility diversions, and structural works, ensuring timely completion within budget and to the highest standards.

Main Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Plan, execute, and deliver enabling works, including road alignments, utility diversions, and structures.
  • Stakeholder Management: Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Resource Management: Coordinate labour, plant, and materials effectively, ensuring optimal performance and minimal waste.
  • Health & Safety: Champion safety on-site, ensuring compliance with statutory and company requirements.
  • Quality Control: Monitor project standards and ensure all works meet required specifications and quality benchmarks.
  • Programme & Budget Management: Track progress against the programme, manage budgets, and take corrective actions where necessary.
What We're Looking For

We require an individual with proven experience as a Site Agent or similar role, ideally on large infrastructure or enabling works. Strong technical knowledge of road alignments, utility diversions, and structural works is essential. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills, as well as a proactive approach to problem-solving and a drive for continuous improvement.
