Lead Data Architect Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Data Architect to join our in-house digital product and services department. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a critical role in upholding and implementing our data architecture standards and practices.

As the Lead Data Architect, you will collaborate with a community of professionals to provide expert advice on best practices in data modelling, while supporting and guiding other data architects and data professionals. Your role will involve producing data artefacts, ensuring they meet our standards, and working closely with solution architects and other technology colleagues to design solutions that align with our data architecture principles.

You will partner with Business Analysts and Data Engineers to understand data requirements and constraints, developing data patterns and designs that support our services effectively. Additionally, you will utilise our corporate data architecture (CDM) as the blueprint for our Data Research Platform, ensuring the CDA team effectively supports organisational projects.

Key responsibilities include leading and participating in workshops to develop and support other teams in data architectural roles, providing data architecture support to various projects and initiatives across the organisation, and offering data architecture consultancy and training to services within the organisation as needed.

You will be an excellent communicator, adept at translating business requirements into data designs. As a keen data modeller, you can produce relevant data models, including reverse-engineering of live systems. You are a seasoned Data Architect with practitioner-level experience in setting and developing data standards and structures.
