Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nightshift Warehouse Operative to join our team at Absolute Sales & Marketing Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our distribution centre, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse, including receiving and dispatching goods, picking and loading customer orders, and maintaining accurate stock control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving and dispatching goods in a timely and accurate manner
  • Picking and loading customer orders with precision and attention to detail
  • Maintaining accurate stock control and ensuring all stock is correctly unloaded, checked, and stored in the correct locations
  • Conducting quality checks to ensure the highest level of quality and safety
  • Following company policies and procedures to ensure a high level of safety at all times

Requirements:

  • Experience in a busy, high-pick-value warehouse environment
  • Knowledge of Schelling cutting saws (although full training will be provided)
  • Forklift license essential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
