Civil Engineering Project Manager

Caval Limited is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee nationwide civils projects ranging from £500k to £15m in value. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, timely, and budget-compliant completion of projects, while meeting specific quality standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project progress.
- Update and maintain progress reports to track project milestones and achievements.
- Execute and uphold company protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure and efficient work environment.
- Coordinate and oversee all aspects of construction activities on site, including the management of subcontractors, suppliers, and construction workers.
- Identify and resolve project-related issues efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.
- Oversee the upkeep of site facilities and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Manage and provide support and guidance to the groundworks team, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Ensure tasks are accomplished according to schedule and within financial plan, while maintaining a focus on quality and safety.
- Carry out regular inspections to verify quality standards are met, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Adhere to Health and Safety regulations, maintaining a secure work environment and promoting a culture of safety awareness.
- Manage project budgets and expenses, including the procurement of materials and equipment, to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
- Monitor work quality and ensure that construction activities meet specified standards and client expectations.
- Stay in regular contact with your team, engaging in ongoing discussions about project updates and handling any issues that may arise.
- Maintain precise documentation of site operations, encompassing progress updates, safety evaluations, and daily records.
