Job Title: Personal Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Personal Assistant to join our team at People Plus Independent Living Services.

Job Purpose and Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support and assistance to our employer, enabling them to maintain an independent and fulfilling life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with domestic tasks, including laundry, housework, and meal preparation.
  • Support with shopping and outdoor activities, such as walking and exercise.
  • Accompany the employer to appointments and assist with leisure activities.
  • Provide personal care and support with mobility, ensuring the employer's safety.
  • Ensure the employer's home is clean, hygienic, and safe.
Requirements:
  • Experience of providing care and support.
  • Consistency, motivation, and a good sense of humour.
  • Ability to understand and deliver the needs of the employer.
  • Flexibility, reliability, and honesty.
  • Good general fitness and an enhanced DBS check.
Working Hours and Rate of Pay:

Weekend hours working over Saturday and Sunday in the daytime, and evenings, hours to be discussed with employer. £11.44 per hour.
