About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled Grid Connection Contracts Manager to join our team at British Solar Renewables. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for managing all grid connections through the asset construction phase, ensuring that all connections are completed on time and on budget.

The successful candidate will have prior experience in managing large construction/infrastructure projects and excellent communication skills. They will also have proficiency in Microsoft suite and ability to negotiate and establish contracts for delivery of services required to execute construction works.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage all grid connections through the asset construction phase.
  2. Coordinate the Site, Grid, DNO, and ICP teams to ensure all connections are completed on time and on budget.
  3. Manage all intrusive works completed prior to asset execution.
  4. Ensure accurate reflection of operational requirements in BSR property agreements prior to construction.
  5. Establish and manage programme and activity plans;
  6. Negotiate and establish contracts for delivery of services required to execute construction works.
Requirements:
  • HND or degree qualification in construction or similar field.
  • Previous work experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft suite.
  • Prior experience in managing large construction/infrastructure projects.

Estimated Salary:

£72,500 per annum (dependent on experience)
