Job Title: Bid Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Bid Specialist to join our team at Contract Scotland. As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for preparing and submitting high-quality bids to secure new contracts.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in the construction industry, with experience in bid preparation, marketing, and tender assessments. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective bid strategies, working closely with our directors and other stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit high-quality bids to secure new contracts
  • Develop and implement effective bid strategies
  • Work closely with directors and other stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes
  • Prepare bespoke quality submission responses for each tender
  • Assess tenders and develop winning bid strategies

Requirements:

  • Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Acrobat Pro, PowerPoint, Adobe Lightroom, and Adobe Illustrator or similar software
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work with a variety of people within the organisation
  • Autonomy to make decisions and prioritize tasks
  • Previous experience of working within the construction sector

  • Salary range of £30,000 to £45,000 depending on experience
