Job Description

As a Procurement Leader at Safran Landing Systems, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain. Your primary responsibility will be to manage a portfolio of suppliers, ensuring that our requirements are met and that we maintain a strong relationship with our partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse and process supplier schedules to ensure timely delivery of raw materials
  • Review and negotiate contracts with suppliers to meet business needs
  • Oversee the progress of manufacturing on supplier sites and manage delivery receipts
  • Manage the flow of returns to suppliers and participate in Line of Balance (LoB) reviews
  • Evaluate supplier performance and implement corrective actions as needed

Requirements:

  • Good working knowledge of ERP systems and MRP2 principles in SAP
  • Experience in the aerospace industry is an advantage
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Ability to negotiate and influence suppliers
  • Commercial awareness and business understanding
