Service Engineering Stress Liaison Technical Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Engineering Stress Liaison Technical Specialist to join our team at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. This role will be responsible for performing liaison duties and stress analysis in support of aircraft structural repair, rework, and alteration.
Key Responsibilities- Perform liaison duties and stress analysis to support aircraft structural repair, rework, and alteration.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of aircraft structural repair and stress analysis procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of stress analysis and repair activities.
- Conduct thorough reviews of engineering drawings, research, and prepare calculations to support in-service aircraft with short return to service times.
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations (14CFR) and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulation procedures.
- Provide technical guidance and support to other engineers and technicians as needed.
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering or technical related curriculum applicable to the respective job position.
- Substantial experience performing liaison duties and stress analysis in support of aircraft structural repair, rework, and alteration.
- Significant experience working in a post-production liaison or stress role, MRB role, or concessions stress engineer role.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to effectively work with and support a multi-discipline team of engineers, technicians, Quality Control, upper management, etc.
- Experience creating 2D repair drawings.
- Prior experience with Gulfstream aircraft.
- FAA DER or ODA unit member for 14CFR25 related aircraft structures.
- Experience with Structural Repair Manuals, Illustrated Parts Catalog, Aircraft Maintenance Manuals.
This is a full-time position with up to 25% travel. The successful candidate will be based in the Savannah Service Center and will report to the Engineering Group Head.
