Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Building Inspector to join our Property Services team in the East Yorkshire region. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting and assessing property repairs, maintenance requirements, and building defects across a diverse portfolio of properties.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and assess property repairs, maintenance requirements, and building defects across a diverse portfolio of properties.
  • Prepare detailed technical specifications and scope of works for repair projects, up to £25,000.
  • Diagnose complex building defects and recommend appropriate remedial actions.
  • Manage contractor relationships and oversee quality of repair works.
  • Conduct pre and post-inspection of repair works.
  • Maintain detailed electronic records of all inspections and recommendations.
  • Carry out regular site visits to monitor ongoing works.
  • Complete property surveys including void property inspections.
  • Identify and report on potential health and safety risks.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have experience in property maintenance and repair, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of building regulations and health & safety requirements.


Salary:

The salary for this role is £58,000 per annum. Anderselite also offers benefits including career development opportunities and a supportive work environment.
