About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Design Consultant to join our team. This is a 6-month contract, outside IR35 position.

The ideal candidate will have proof of immediate, on-going and valid eligibility to work full-time in the UK and travel within the EU.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To design and deliver complete design proposals according to design brief and project constraints in assigned programs using CATIA v.5.
  • To produce creative detailed design solutions fulfilling complex technical criteria.
  • To participate in exterior design reviews and attend project and engineering meetings.
  • To create 3D package modelling, design sizing analysis, sub-system load analysis, support DFMEA, DVP & Report, DFM and DFA, GD&T / RPS Location and Measurement Support.

Requirements:

  • Professional experience in body design & composites.
  • Working knowledge of legal and legislative requirements.
  • Nice to have: Deliver design proposals according to design brief and project constraints in assigned programs using CATIA v.5/v.6.
